I love it!
Over the next few weeks I'll be highlighting items that I'm purchasing for my wedding. Some will relate to kitchen stuff - like the cheese boxes for the reception flowers. Or, the linen tablecloths for each table. What you can count on is that most will be either true vintage antiques or in the vintage style.
Today, I'd like to share with you these earrings. Since my engagement ring was handcrafted from a vintage mold and featured tiny flowers, I wanted to find flower earrings for my maid of honor and me. Vintage or reproductions. Either way.
I love Etsy.com and I enjoy supporting the sellers there. So, I looked for some vintage earrings - and found many I liked. I finally found some non-vintage beauties being sold by Sharon at MetalRocks.
But, I was hoping for posts, not dangles. So, since it looked like she made her own jewelry, I asked if they were available in posts and could be "antiqued" to look like vintage silver with a patina.
She answered YES and YES!
We messaged back and forth - this gal could NOT have been nicer! - and I ordered 2 pair right away. Since she makes each by hand, and she and her husband live in Canada, time was of the essence. No worries, though. They arrived in plenty of time!

Beautiful Dana! I love seeing all the bits and pieces of your wedding. I try and buy from Etsy sellers whenever I can. I can spend hours looking through everything on that site.
