I'm Dana. I'm pleased to meet you.
I love sharing. Listening. Learning.
This is a place to share tips, grab a recipe or technique, and see some travel pics. If I'm really lucky, perhaps I'll inspire you.
I guess I think of blogging as a "Modern Day Tupperware Party."

This blog began a few years ago focusing on cooking, traveling, saving money - and a touch of vintage love.
Slowly, as I've changed, so has my blog. (That's an understatement - I wasn't even married when I started!) I still write about cooking - but now there's a lot more life tossed in the mix.
I'm a newlywed and now a step-mom to two wonderful boys. I'm a Christian and small group leader for amazing junior high girls.
What else? I'm fascinated by retro and old fashioned living. The photo above was taken at the Wishing Well Motel on Route 66 the very week it was demolished. Sniff.
I have the decorating bug - though you'd never know it from my home. (I have oh-so-many boxes of "treasures items" that I bought on eBay or from Goodwill. They'll be up on the walls and end tables soon and I'll share my treasures with you.)
All the best,

P.S. You can also read about Why I Blame Alton Brown for my love for cooking. *grin*
