Either way, here are 2 tips to create a more inviting home.
1. Make
Sure, candles can give you a warm glow.
But, they aren't the only way to fill make the room smell inviting. I put water, some vanilla extract, and a cinnamon stick in a saucepan and let it simmer. (Be sure to have enough water in the pot so it doesn't evaporate completely!) It's a quick and easy way to get a lovely scent in the air.
Bonus!
It helps increase the humidity to combat dry fall and winter evenings!
2. Make "note" of it!
A while back we talked about Pandora.
It's my fast and easy way to get some music going. You can certainly use your iPod or CDs, too. But, I enjoy the flexibility of having great music at my fingertips with only an internet connection.
