Glancing Back, Marching Forward

Oh, 2010 - you were a good year.

There were many ups and downs - and while some of the downs were like getting kicked in the solar plexus, they were recoverable. But, the ups - oh, my the ups.

Who knew I'd be getting married?
(Certainly not me.)

I think I'd like to spend just a moment looking back, then we can march forward into the new year.

My Top 10 Referring Sites from 2010
1. The Cutting Edge of Ordinary
2. Hope Studios
3. Nesting Place
4. Chatting At The Sky
5. Foodista.com
6. It's the Little Things That Make a House a Home
7. Foodie With Family
8. The Fajdich Times
9. The Pioneer Woman
10. Thrifty Decor Chick

Thank you to those referring sites - as well as everyone who visits here and lets me feel I have something worthwhile to say.

Looking forward, the hubs and I have been home improvement maniacs as of late. It's amazing how much you can get done for so little. I'm looking forward to knocking a few more off the list very soon. I'll be revealing some soon.

Thank you for all the e-mails and the comments in the past year.
They made me smile.
See you soon with some "after" pics!

Aw, thanks :)

Most of our wedding was DIY - including the bouquets and boutineers. I had a fresh blue hydrangea, my maid of honor had white.

Yep, the boutineer is an iris - my husband has grown them for years. I made the men's boutineers out of silk since irises are so fragile.

I was really happy with the results. I can't tell in the close ups that the boutineers aren't fresh.

Thanks for stopping by!
