What We Did...Instead of Cooking
And, Monkeybread.

This space could contain pics of a newly carved pumpkin. And, perhaps some toasted home-made pumpkin seeds. Today's entry could contain an amazing fall harvest feast replete with recipes.

But, instead, we'll highlight a "Spicy Coffee Cake" made by a 12 year old. You see, after baking the homework, we wanted to get out. So, we hit the local Arboretum and enjoyed the fall colors. We never did get to the pumpkin carving. But, we laughed and laughed...and made memories, instead.

Here's the "Spicy Coffee Cake" recipe.
(Er, I'm not sure why the teacher called this Spicy.
Isn't this just moneybread?)
Spicy Coffee Cake
Grease a bundt pan or casserole dish. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in separate dish. Dip Pilsbury dinner rolls into butter, then dredge on all sides in a 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon combo. Place in dish and back 12-14 minutes in 375 degree oven. Turn out onto plate. Enjoy.

So what I *should* be doing with my time copious amounts of spare time is unpacking & whatall, right? *hmmmmmm* No one can tell me that the day trips & sites & laughing & memories & stories are less important. Those boxes can wait ...

Good on you for making memories ... and monkeybread. :-)
